The handle
Designed Around the Curve of the Hand
The standard mug handle is a D-shaped loop. It exists because it is cheap to produce, not because anyone thought carefully about how a hand actually holds a mug. CURVD started from a different question: what does the hand do naturally, and how should the handle follow that?
The result is a curved handle that follows the natural arc of the fingers, provides clearance for a full four-finger grip, and keeps the wrist in a neutral position during lifting. Small differences, but felt on every single use.

The Glaze You Drink From Every Day
CURVD mugs are made from kiln-fired stoneware ceramic. The glaze is formulated to be food-safe and is tested for lead and cadmium. These are not marketing claims — they reflect specific material choices and production standards that most mug manufacturers do not hold themselves to.
Lead-Free
No lead in the clay, glaze, or print. Third-party lab tested and verified before production.
Cadmium-Free
No cadmium in the ceramic, glaze, or color pigments used in printing.
Kiln-Fired Decals
Prints fused into the glaze at high temperature. Not coated on top. Will not peel, fade, or bubble.
Food-Safe Ceramic
Dishwasher safe. Microwave safe. Stoneware glaze made for daily contact with food and drink.
Custom print quality
A Logo That Lasts as Long as the Mug
Most custom mug printing uses sublimation or surface decals that sit on top of the glaze. These methods are fast and cheap. They also fade, crack, and peel within months of daily dishwasher use. CURVD uses kiln-fired ceramic decals — a fundamentally different process where the color becomes part of the glaze surface, not a coating on top of it.
